I just finished three books Litfuse Publicity asked me to review and have not just some good summer read recommendations for you but also an invitation for you to join one of the author’s Facebook parties tonight!
Afloat by Erin Healy (fiction)
What a visually interesting story! This story takes you on site to a unique island construction project where an unimaginable accident happens. You’ll meet an array of interesting characters and follow their stories as they work together to try to survive the accident. This is a great read that’ll keep your interest throughout as you find out the truth behind each character- and who survives!
Erin Healy is the best-selling co-author of Burn and Kiss (with Ted Dekker) and an award-winning editor for numerous best-selling authors.
Undeniably Yours by Becky Wade (fiction)
Here’s an ideal summer read- this is a “chick” book that I really adored. The story takes you to the estate of a rich heiress, Meg, who has inherited way more than she wants to handle when her father dies- including an oil company and a horse farm! The horse farm manager, Bo, finds himself instantly drawn to his new boss and though he tries to keep his distance, the attraction between the two keeps you drawn in and routing for them as a couple. A quick, fun read that leaves you wanting more.
The Bare Naked Truth by Bekah Martin (non-fiction)
This book is not your typical summer beach read. In fact, it’s a non-fiction book written for teenage girls. The Bare Naked Truth is written by Bekah Martin to give teens a new perspective on saving themselves for marriage. Bekah has an honest, amusing style that keeps you interested as she tells stories about various things that have happened in her life and what revelations they led to. This is a quick read and may just be a book your want to share with your teen.
TONIGHT at 8 PM (EST)– join Bekah for a Facebook party where you can discuss the book (even if you haven’t read it yet) and win great prizes! (I won an Amazon gift card at the last party) Click here to RSVP.
