We stopped by ShopRite on our way home from work/school this afternoon to pick up a few items with coupons that would triple. I got some FANTASTIC deals, including some that I did not have triple coupons for. Here is what I got:
37 items in total and they came to $75 before coupons……and $11.41 after coupons! Here are the 4 things I did to get such good deals:
1) I printed the following coupons that tripled:
*I bought a new Cheerios flavor that was not pictured on the coupon but was on sale for $1.99 and used this coupon.
Note: There are many more that will triple at coupons.com but I already printed/used them last week. Other sites such as Coupon Network, SmartSource and Redplum also have good coupons you can print.
2) I also used several coupons that were in the newspaper this past weekend.
3) I loaded ShopRite e-coupons onto my PricePlus card. It’s easy to do by signing in here and clicking each coupon you want. (If you haven’t already registered your PricePlus card on their site, do it now! These coupons come off in addition to the manufacturer’s coupons you use!)
4) Finally, we love buying organic products so I emailed both Stonyfield and Organic Valley and they mailed me a bunch of coupons:
- Cups of Stonyfield yogurt are on sale for only .60 cents each and I had several coupons for .50 cents off 3…they tripled so I only paid .10 cents per yogurt! (You can also print Stonyfield coupons here.)
- Organic Valley cream cheese was on sale for $2.99 and I had two .75 cents off coupons that tripled so .74 cents each. (Note: Email Organic Valley and they will send you coupons regularly!)
- I also had a ShopRite coupon from my last visit for free eggs. It took off $1.89 and I used it towards ShopRite Organic Eggs.
Remember, only ShopRite stores in Albany, Slingerlands and Niskyuana are tripling coupons this week.
It’s definitely worth a stop in to see what you can pick up for cheap or free! PLUS, the Catalina machine (the little coupon box) at the register printed out some great coupons tonight….including one for $5 off my next purchase!
Good luck and have fun shopping!
Thanks for motivating me to get over to ShopRite and to print out some coupons first! I saved $41 on an $87 bill. Plus I got a lot of organic products that I don’t usually buy because they are out of my budget! I can’t wait to save more 🙂
Laura, that’s great! I really strive to buy natural and organic products so I’ll have to write a post on more ways to save when doing that. Great deal, especially on your first trip!
I have no shop rite by me 🙁
